Hello Frisco Folks-- Several years ago, I purchased a Bowser Casey Jones kit. It looked difficult, life, family, work, etc--you know the drill. Finally I pulled it out last fall and finished it. It was a lot of fun, and it runs well. I want to put more details on it, so I was wondering if there any Frisco Ten Wheelers that I can detail it to resemble. Any advice?
Well, for a start look at - http://frisco.org/mainline/tag/4-6-0/ The Archive has 10 4-6-0s to look through. And also here - http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?forums/4-6-0-ten-wheeler.200/
Thanks Bob. I've also looked at Steamlocomotive.com for info, and at Springfield-Greene library. At first I thought a 1400-series, but the drivers seem too small. The ones that have a close boiler shape/dome placement don't have valve gear, so I'm thinking I may pick one like 714 and call it good.
