One niche interest of mine as far as railroading is concerned is automobile and auto parts traffic. Earlier today, I did a Google search about the Frisco's automobile and auto parts traffic and came upon a brief article about the Frisco's autorack fleet, which I will be uploading below. It included some interesting bits of information about the Frisco's role in transporting automobiles, including a list of what autorack pools the Frisco participated in and a list of what plants it served. To my knowledge, the Frisco never directly participated in any westbound movement of auto parts. I know the Frisco owned a large fleet of 86' boxcars and I've seen Frisco 86' boxcars in photos of ARRO, APW and FAST.
