I have mentioned several times in prior postings on frisco.org that the PRR historical society, the B&O historical society, and the SAL/ACL/SCL historical society each publish outstanding on-line model railroad magazines, or e-zines, dealing primarily with their subject railroads, but providing excellent articles, information, pictures, rosters, etc. These three are published on-line in Adobe.pdf format, and are easily downloaded and read if you have Adobe Reader (available at no cost).

The current issues of each, and several recent prior issues, are available at no cost on the websites of these three groups. Do a Google search to find them. They are all excellent - the PRR e-zine, "The Keystone Modeler", is, along with "Diesel Era", my favorite RR publication of all that I read.

Though these don't deal specifically with the Frisco, they are an excellent resource none-the-less.

Recent good news is that a fourth RR historical society, the C&NW historical group, has joined the fray and has just published their first issue. As with the others, it is available at no cost from their web site.

Give these a try. I love 'em!

    Ken

ps: As a thought - is it feasible we (frisco.org) could put something like this together dealing with Frisco subjects? These things are really well done.
