Great shot! Thanks for sharing that link, Dan. It took some detective work, but I found out AMTK 226 was 2007 "Whirlaway" by way of something on L&N. I also found out the other Frisco E-8 to become AMTK 227 (via L&N) was, appropriately enough, 2014 "Truxton."

<<Going off topic>> It occurred to me information like this ought to be accessible directly from pages here on frisco.org. It is somewhat topical to say "this horse has already been beaten here," for the suggestion has surfaced before.

Does the bulletin board software allow construction of pages that simply display tables? An obvious first example would be "EMD E-Series Passenger Diesel Names" that would give road number, horse name, horse name derivation, build date, serial number and disposition.

Tables exist that give some of this information for E-8s and GP-7s as well as for other locomotives, but it takes some patience and skill with the search function to find the thread and drill down to the posting with the attachment to read. It would be nice if there were a page with links to tabular content like this on the server. Naturally, tables are just the beginning; Similar access to maps, diagrams and plans would be nice, too!
