    Hello,

I am looking for more info on Frisco line in Alabama.

I have a great article about the downtown Birmingham area, but would love to know of any smaller industries that might have used Frisco boxcars and such. I have joined a local club modeling Alabama and or south Tennessee in the 1940's through the 60's.

They have just finished the layout and gotten it operational, so now we are working on filling in all the free space. I would love to model a few small areas to simulate some Frisco activity. We are considering modeling coal, lumber, pulp wood, cattle and/or cotton businesses. We would love to hear from you guys. Anything would be appreciated.

Also, if you could tell me what the most likely motive power models would have been then I can try to hunt something down.

Would the Baldwin switchers that Stewart hobbies put out in the black and yellow be appropriate?

Thanks for all the great stuff everyone adds to this sight.

    Matt
