What about adding a Virtual Scale section to the modeling board? Some of us don't have the space for a regular layout and I model the Kansas Division and the Fort Smith Sub in V-scale...

Pretty cool. How do we do that? It can't be harder than installing a DCC system (black wire to black, red to red) or I'm lost.

    Thanks.

    Ship IT on the Frisco!

It's cheaper than you think..Microsoft Train simulator came out in 2001 for 39 bucks and sporting only BNSF equipment and 1 route...Since then, literally thousands of freeware user-created addons have made it possible to run a train on virtually any route/railroad you desire...The MSTS community is huge...over 15,000 active users from all over the world..MSTS is now sold by Atari and available at Walmart and many other retailers and for around 20 bucks...You can run the train from the cab or from outside, with somewhat realistic physics and sounds...I have over 800 different locomotives and 1600 pieces of rolling stock, 43 different routes from all eras, Steam to diesel..Now try putting all that on a piece of plywood! I have a photo album here at the forum...be sure to visit it..Lots of my FRISCO models and screenies from the simulator...
