Benn watching him for a while. I even asked him about a particular set, and he said he will work on it. He is offering a steam locomotive set in white.
Mike is coming out with Frisco cars prior to 1910. I'm sending him many cars to do. His first release will be Frisco 12019, which is a 36 foot wood boxcar. I'll be sending him reefers, gondolas, flats, and also Missouri & North Arkansas stuff. Please be patient as I work with him to get you guys stuff for the steam era. His decals are great! Support him so he can do more!
Same here. I bought HO and asked for G scale diesel sets. He said he would add it to the list. Hopefully that can happen soon. I have a bunch of projects if so that have languished in modeler purgatory a while.
Would he be able to make Frisco heavyweight passenger cars? I would like to buy a set or two. Does he accept PayPal? Joe
All the sets that I know of so far seem to have been done in at least N, HO, and O. I have been buying items from him for many years and I have always been pleased. Robert
I've picked up the steam set and both hood diesel sets so far and my only gripe is the fonts are a little small in places. I'll try to put together something this afternoon showing what I mean.
I am working with Mike and will be sending him all my Frisco stuff to do. Box cars, gondolas, flat cars, refrigerators, passenger cars, and more. Be patient as he will get to stuff. He will be getting lots of: Frisco Steam Era CE&I Frisco BE&SW Frisco St Louis & Gulf (Frisco) N.O.T.M. (Frisco) Missouri & North Arkansas St Louis Iron Mountain & Southern Cape Girardeau Northern (Caboose) Quanah Acme & Pacific St Lous Brownsville & Mexico Alabama Tennessee Northern Mississippi Central Kansas City Ft Scott & Gulf Kansas City Ft Scott & Memphis Kansas City Clinton & Springfield and more! Please be patient as I feed him my entire Frisco collection. Someone here requested St Louis IM & Southern and the Cape Girardeau. He contacted me and he has the materials and will be doing them within the next few weeks. I will post up as he adds Frisco stuff. He already is coming out with Frisco Boxcar 12019, which is a truss rod steam era car. Two cars per decal and he has the number series. I working for y'all. Please give me a change and we'll get it all done! Thank you in advance! Levi Matthews
Here is the Frisco boxcar that is set to come out later this month: July 1901 ORER, Car Sequence 12000 to 12430 There are plenty more coming. I am working with him to send my collection of Frisco stuff to. He will do them. Just be patient. Steam guys are going to get attention! The decal has two cars on it with the correct numbers. I am giving him ORER (Official Railroad Equipment Register) information with each car so he knows the sequence of numbers. It is working out well. If you have requests, please feed them to me and I'll get it in the rotation. Be patient please as he is working across all different railroads. Levi
I'm with Robert--this is awesome. Does anyone make a kit of that car? I would LOVE drawings of that car.
Is he going to do different scales? I would be interested in the N scale version. A data sheet would be nice so we could apply different road numbers. I could use six. Joe
Joe, Yes, he will be doing them in O, HO, and N Scale. Two cars on the decal, and all extra numbers for you to change accordingly. Joe, the ORER information is in my post showing the number range. If you or anyone needs ORER info on any car, contact me and I'll locate and report back to you. No problem. For that particular car, per July 1901 ORER, 12000 - 12430 is the sequence available. 430 cars of this type were built. GNA, I will scale out this car and do a drawing for scratch building purposes. I will then post it up. There may be a LaBelle Kit that will work to modify or possibly a Scotia Kit, but there is no manufactured 34' Boxcar on the market that I am aware of. Levi
Yeah, duh. I'm sorry. You are correct. I've had a busy night with cars, etc. No one makes a straight 36' car you can model it from. All would need to be kit bashed. LaBelle 40 footers cut down, or Scotia 36' Boxcars would be a good starting point. I'm turning to scratch building. This car will be a build thread for sure here as I get back into the hobby. Sorry about any confusion I caused. Levi
Has anyone actually used these decals yet??? Do they apply& hug the details like Microscale decals??? Roger
Yes they are nice. Remind me of Mask Island decals. Levi don’t be afraid to push him to print some G scale diesel decals still too.
