Frisco Pictures from the 1960's

    Just wanted to let everyone know that KY3.com (channel news out of Springfield, Missouri) has several 1960's Frisco pictures of the Springfield depot and engine facility on their website right now. Don't know how long they will be available for viewing, but the website is www.ky3.com

    Interesting. All passenger mostly. Some diesels. Some cabooses. Some motorcars. Different paint schemes.

    That Sperry doodlebug is very unique as is the maroon and white switcher with slsf marking. Any idea where Frisco acquired this switcher? Looks to be from the Minneapolis and St. Louis Line or maybe North Arkansas and Missouri. Must a been a re-branded lease acquisition.

    Those 4 Alco s-2's and S-4 came from the NEO (Northeast Oklahoma).
