      John,

That's an old photo of Kansas City Clinton & Springfield Railway 4-4-0 #208 (renumbered to 86 shortly after the 1901 StL&SF-KCFS&M merger) with side-door KCC&S caboose #8 trailing behind. I found it on a CD-ROM of local historical photographs published by the Polk County (Mo.) Historical Society. Judging by the engine's gleaming paint and the natty outfits of the crew, I suspect it was taken shortly after delivery. The 1903 Frisco roster indicates that the KCC&S engines were essentially duplicates of a class of Manchester 4-4-0s purchased by corporate parent KCFS&M at about the same time.

Your profile indicates that you're in Parma Heights, Ohio, which according to Google Maps is in the Cleveland area. Are you planning on going to the NMRA North Central Region convention in Toledo this September?
