F7B unit 5118

This model started out as an Athearn F7A with Hi-F (rubber band) drive. The shell was destroyed by painting it with a heavy coat of Floquil. I bought a Mantua F7B shell, adapted it to the frame, filed off the dynamic brake fan, steam generator stacks and added lift rings and grab irons.

Thanks HWB! I suspect that the Athearn and Mantua F7B shells have the same origin.

Good old Hi-F drive! I had a couple of " Hustlers" that were super-sonic!
