    Doug,

    Goodness, how time flies!

Did Martin present his "Bootheel Lines" paper to us at the Memphis FMIG annual meeting?

    When was that, 1981?

I brought my little guy Kurt along to that meeting. Now he runs stores for Best Buy, has a nice house in Kansas, has a nice wife, and a beautiful little daughter, and one more on the way. Whew!

    Ken,

Too soon old, too late smart.

Martin's Bootheel Lines is posted on the Frisco Modelers Information Group (FMIG) Newsletters string.

Martin Lofton is the owner of Sunshine Models out of Springfield, MO.

Very good article; it is one that I have referred to quite often.

The Corse's Grocery begs to be modeled.

A few years back, I asked Karl for help in determining where this store was located.

We hypothesized but I would have to look through my notes to remember any candidates.

    Anyone else have thoughts?

    Best Regards,

    Good Article.

Here in Caruthersville there were a few industries that had sidings for both Frisco and Cotton Belt.
