Chris, this was in the Frisco employee magazine of August 1930 page 27. I know the fireman Cannon was my greatgrandfather Carl C. Cannon. Any ideas on the Abernathy?

Tim, that's something! I'm not aware of any kin working...but my Great-Grandpa Abernathy and his brother both farmed in the area around Morley/Brooks Jct./Vanduser and some toward Sikeston.

There's plenty of family still around there; I'll have to ask dad to check with Aunt Cori, the family historian.
