I've got copies of two photos, captioned wreck at Henryetta, 11 "colored" passengers died. No other information. The cars are wood, so I'm guessing late 19th-early 20th century. Can someone give me more precise information about this wreck? Or tell me how to begin researching it?
    Thanks for the help,

Sounds like the wreck of 18 Aug 1929, 12 passengers and 2 employees killed. Go to the DOT Special Collections Library

    http://dotlibrary.specialcollection.net/

From there take the link to the ICC Railroad Accident Reports 1911-1994; You can either use the search engine provided (search on "Henryetta") or go to the 1929 and find the file.
