Hello: Following the lead set by other newbees, I am windmillbill. I tried to join about a year ago but guess I didn't at that time. Charlie Dix has been very helpful in finally getting me set up. I have also communicated with James Pekereck. Navigating the forum taxes my technological abilities. In fact it appears that I cannot post new threads at this time but here goes anyway. Oh, now it is on! I am restoring an older wooden rear copula SL-SF wooden caboose. I would like to know how to date it and where I might look for it's number. It appears to be identical to #74 displayed in willow springs MO. I will post pictures of the restoration project as I become more familiar with using the site.
