Where is the thred of three or four days ago re: Frisco emergency wreck equipment, derricks etc? Thanks, Tom
I don't think it was the Yay-Hoo group because I had been looking at wrecker photos. About three or four days ago I was surfing Frisco photos (all over the interweb) and I found the Mike Condren photo of the Fort Smith wrecker steamed up for an inspection. I thought that photo was here someplace?? Must be elsewhere... Tom
The Yahoo thread was sparked by Mike Condren's site. This page in particular: http://www.cbu.edu/~mcondren/Frisco Catalog/Derricks.htm The first few photos on that page show the Ft. Smith wrecker under steam. The Yahoo thread starts with message number 3122 ( You need to be a member of the group for this to work, but the link to the message in the archive is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Frisco/message/3122 ) Paul
For Paul or others--When did they begin using the highway derricks and crews (which they called "RC-60" on the m/w radio channel) and start moving away from using the railway cranes/derricks? Also what did "RC-60" stand for? Thanks, Tom
