Folks: Tom's recent post point to the Texas Special model video on YouTube (http://www.frisco.org/vb/showpost.php?p=13661&postcount=1) triggered an interesting thought as I polished off the last box of ThinMint Cookies in our house. Geography and other constraints inhibit any formal layout tours or get-togethers for this fine group of Frisco Folk. However, YouTube accounts are free (as I understand it). Furthermore, digital technology makes it quite possible to record a video clip of that favorite 4500 Northern-type rounding a superelevated curve on a scale rendition of the Eastern Division, and then upload the clip to a video sharing website. In summary - how about some virtual layout tours? Show the trains by themselves...or introduce yourself at the outset and give us a tour (as a trainer by profession, I like what "eLearning" and technology can do but I still like the human touch). I'm not married to the idea of posting them to YouTube per se - I reckon any video sharing website would do. If you're in, post a reply and give us a link!
