Mike, these drawings that Doug H. posted a few years ago are all that I'm aware of, outside of any copies in the FMIG newsletters. Hope this helps... http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?threads/floor-diagrams.1714/ The complete set is one file here: http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index....car-diagrams-from-the-motive-department.4875/ Best Regards,
Howdy, Thanks Chris. Anyone have any photos of Frisco varnish? More Classic Trains has a few... Best, mike
Somewhere on this chat board are a couple of photos of a little work train down around Chaffee, two or three freight cars and the little coach that was donated to the city of Rolla (563??) and sits parked behind 4-8-2 1501. In these pictures it's shows the in-service paint scheme of the little coach. Not the wild west scheme it's wearing at Rolla. Sorry I have no idea how to link up that thread... Tom
Howdy Tom, I was asking for a non-Internet friend who has several of the La Belle cars and was wanting to model old Frisco varnish. He was starting with the baggage car. I thought photos or diagrams might be a good way for him to evaluate the LaBelle cars for Frisco trains. Best, mike
Richard, thank you for this extensive list of pictures. Wow!, that must have taken you some time to compile. I do have a few questions about how to get pictures off of your list. I already visited the Fallen Flags site and understand how to get those pictures and the pictures on Condren's list, but I am ignorant of how to get the pictures from the other sources. What about the black lettering entries (which includes yours)? How can I get/purchase from these, and are the other two photographers still available to buy from? My last question is: How can I be sure the picture I think I may want to purchase is actually one that I need? Is it possible to preview any picture I may want? For example, on the first list on page 253 you list one of a clerk in Tulsa in 1954. My father-in-law was a clerk then, and if it is Neil, I would purchase this picture, but, if not, then I am not interested. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated as I believe that this list should have anything I may need. Terry Jankowski
Very good question, Terry. I was wondering the same. Many thanks to Richard for the time/effort involved.
On all of my lists each picture is listed twice, the first time is a CD-ROM number which is where the photo is stored off my computer. The odd looking number below that is the actual picture number. The first number is the roll number followed by a dash then the picture number. If there is more than one picture number, then there is more than one picture of that subject. E-mail me with your requests at renapper@centurylink.net. All my pictures are TIFF files, and therefore way to large a file to E-mail them to you. Give me your snail mail address, and I will put them on a CD and mail them to you. depending on file size I can get at least fifty pictures on a CD. I would apopreciate a $10.00 donation for each CD I send you, to cover my costs. I have about 82,000 photos on all of my lists, not just Frisco that I have aquired over my 64 years of life, I can only send you the photos in black. All others are copyrighted by the group or individual listed, and you will have to get the photo from them, as I have said, they are listed for reference only, I can use them for my personnal use, but I cannot send them to anyone.
Thanks, Richard. I will be looking at the lists over the next few weeks and will send you a pm when I figure out which ones I would like. I appreciate the work you put into this and am blown away with the tremendous volumn of pictures you have. Terry Jankowski
Howdy, Just click the link and it should take you to the page with the diagrams. They are in PDF format, so easy to read. Best, mike
