    Three Mile Creek Crossing - ASD&T Bridge 870.6 (2.9) - Mobile, AL 873.5 (0.0) - AT&N / Mobile Subdivision

This is a draw bridge the Frisco had to cross to get to the Mobile yard.

It is now operated by the Alabama State Docks railroad but may have been operated by the Frisco. I don't know, I did not live here then.

Then the line leads into the CSX yard before ending at the Frisco terminal.

Edit 1/31/2024: Cannot locate any record to indicate either the Alabama, Tennessee and Northern (AT&N) or Frisco ever owned the draw bridge. The routs was originally part of the independent AT&N. The Frisco acquired financial control of the railroad in 1948. It allowed to operate as a separate entity,

In 1965 the mileage markers were change to correspond to the Frisco numbering system for its north-south lines. These are numbered from Kansas City to reflect its Memphis Route predecessor lines. Then in 1971, the ATN was fully integrated into the Frisco and it lost its independent identity.

Two mile posts are shown representing the later non bracketed numbers show Frisco mile posts designation starting at Kansas City. The original AT&N numbering is shown in parentheses brackets, (), with their starting point at Mobile Yard.
