    Howdy,

The Texas Western Railroad Association is pleased to announce the availability of a custom Red Caboose/Intermountain PRR X29 box car with shadow herald.

The cars are available at the club store:

    http://shop.twmrc.org.

There are still a few SLSF flat cars available, too.

    Have fun,
    mike

I was surprised to see a special run of a Pennsy X-29 boxcar in view of the fact there are so many freight cars of railroads that operated in the Great Southwest that deserve their own custom runs. Of course, the Pennsy´s X-29s probably operated over the rails of all the Class One as well as shortline railroads ever since the first ones were released from the shops for operation, including Canada and Mexico...mabie even Cuba via the West India Fruit & Steamship Company railcar ferries that moved freight from the Port of Palm Beach, Florida to Havanna until the Cuban Revolution and US embargo put the skids to this service.

Wonder if any Frisco equipment "vacationed" Cuba and if any got stranded on the island after the embargo took effect?
