When I worked for the UP in St Louis, in the record center, I had access to a lot of the old records. I was able to write down the receiverships, the railroad name, the equity case number , the date and the Federal Court it was heard in. I used this to go to the National Archives to look through the receiverships and find a lot of information. The Missouri Pacific/St Louis Iron Mountain & Southern receivership of 1915 had an inventory of all the rolling stock.
If anyone has the equity number and the Courts for the SLSF receiverships, they should post it. What you find on a google search for a railroad receivership, is not always complete.
In the Texas & Pacific Railway receivership of 1885, I found two employee timetables from 1885, and an inventory of the railroad.
