    Southwest City, MO depot.

The 20 feet by 60 feet Frisco depot, built in 1902, has been moved about one-half mile from its former location near Honey Creek.

The building appears to be in poor condition although traces of white and red paint are visible. This depot was seen in the 1939 film Jesse James. The Southwest City name was replaced by the name Liberty.

There is an apartment complex at the old depot site that is named Liberty Station in honor of the depot's moment of fame.

The Bentonville Branch was abandoned west of Bentonville, AR on September 9, 1940.

    Photograph dated July 2, 2008.
