  1. Note the water is over flowing from the north pool.
    Perhaps the same from the south pool also.
    The spring is discharging to anywhere else?
    Sure, the little village needed water too.
    Anyway, it takes a long time to fill a pool.

    1873 the new St. Louis, Salem & Little Rock RR started operating
    There was a water tank on the mainline at Cuba.
    If that Cuba tank could not keep up to mainlines traffic
    that was a problem and the St, L S & L R was 2nd fiddle.
    Salem had a tank also. All three tanks were used.
