    Two items of interest:

    1) Pg 91. TRRA Historical and Technical Society announces a 150 page :The Texas Special - The Glamour Traoin of the Southwest" $35.00 + $5.00 postage

    2) Page 96 - Red Caboose announces "All Tooling for Sale" I wonder what effect this will have on the flatcar project?

I'm not sure how they are defining "tooling". It may mean the machines they used to make the dies and not the current dies themselves which I assume all went over to Intermountain. Maybe someone else on the list with more knowledge can clarify this.

    Hi,
Since I work in the molding industry, tooling usually means the molds. That could be large molds for individual models or what are called " family molds" that are parts that are used on many models. It would be interesting to see what prices they are asking, and what molds are for sale. If the " tooling" is not expensive, I can mold new stuff at cost.
    Hope this helps

    Dan:

Thanks for the clarification. That's what I thought, but wasn't sure.
