I worked at Lindenwood Yards from 1963 thru 1972 as a clerk. Left in 1972 and worked in various managerial positions for MP/UP until I took early retirement in 2001. After a short stint with the TRRA in Granite City, I retired to FLA in 2003. Restless, so I worked for KCS in Shreveport, LA., as Director of Crew Management for two years. Finally retired for good at the end of 2007. Now living in St. Augustine, FL. Great memories of my days at Lindenwood. Third Generation Railroader - Father John R. Carter and Grandfather Clarence W.
