I am hoping someone might know the answer to some questions aout the operations of the Peabody Coal Mine at Harvey on the Clinton sub: 1) Did they use their own hopper cars? 2) was the mine switched with a Peabody switcher, or did Frisco do the honors? 3) which direction did the majority of the coal go? north towards KC or south towards Springfield? I know Peabody used their own rail equipment at other locations, just curious about Harvey itself ( only partly because I’m calling the south staging yard on my home layout Harvey… because I am Modeling it after the Frisco storage yard there. )
