I finally got to meet our friend Mike Good at the Henry County Library in Clinton, Mo. yesterday. Mike's a great guy and a wealth of information. He has so much information and history about the SLSF at his fingertips. I also got to look at the original, large 1952 aerial photographs of that contain the old Frisco Highline. These might be the only surviving evidence of what things really looked like before the flooding of the Truman Reservoir. I was in Clinton calling on some customers for work so I only got spend about 45 minutes with Mike but could have easily spent an entire day there. So if your ever in Clinton and would like to pick his brain I'm sure he would enjoy discussing old Frisco stories. I have to make plans to spend an entire day there in the future...
