I hate to display my ignorance but can anyone tell me the width of the nose stripes on the black & yellow hood units and switchers? I want to paint some Geeps but do not know what width of stripe to use.
I am currently placing decals on a GP 7, I am using Oddballs decals that I have purchased years ago. The chevron stripes on the front and side frame measures 1/16" wide. From inside to inside of the ruler line. I would do the same on the switchers, they are also on the Oddballs decal sheet. Hope that helps! John
In the past, I've used Herald King nose stripes, and they've worked quite well. Now, with Oddballs pretty much a memory and Herald King just now being remade, I've had to look for other options for nose stripes, even looking at Microscale.
