Scroll down to other public sources. Links to a page that list several other states. Also downloadable in TIFF format.

Yet another USGS topo map site. This is by far my favorite. It doesn't have all the same states as some of the others, but navigation between maps is a snap. You are also able to download the map as a TIFF.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY GIS

This site covers just St. Louis County. There are aerial shots over St. Louis City, but no navigation features other than a slow panning option. You need a fast connection to use this site. Just enter an address, select the link and a street map image pops up. Then select aerial photo from the options to get the photo. They are high res pics, so you can zoom in pretty close.

A few points of interest are:

3015 BARRETT STATION The Museum of Transportation
(So you can see what you are missing)

1050 DODGE - The Chrysler plant. A few yards plus the RailCar ramps.

3716 BIG BEND INDUSTRIAL - Southeast JCT. This is right at City Limits. From here you have to pan to get into the City.

190 BAKER - Webster Groves Station

125 KENRICK - The "famous" Shipt it On The Frisco bridge over Rte 66 (Watson Rd)

Go to Chaffee, MO. As of 8-27-2002, there is a postcard picture of the River Division General Office Building on the home page.

The following is a link to an extensive collection scanned drawings of PRR equipment.

Perhaps this will be useful for those of us steam-era modelers looking to model specific equipment for interchange use.

This link (I hope) will take you to a great yahoo group website with a ton of photos and modeling tips. You won't believe some of the model photos. You will have to join the group though(free and easy).
