Can anyone tell me where to find a nibbler suitable for cutting N scale windows and doors in styrene?
The one I use for the task ( in n-scale even ) came from radio shack..... But I bought it at least 10 years ago. Paul
Don, you are right, MicroMark does carry nibblers. It's item #81477 for $13.35 and looks like it will work on N scale. Radio Shack is out of business with all stores closed. Joe
Unless that happened in the last 24 hours, they have not closed all of the stores after thier February Bankruptcy filing. There are stil two open stores within 10 miles of my house ( they did close a third store... ) Paul
Interesting; I'll have to investigate. My understanding is that the Columbia Mall store closed, but that a stand-alone store off Stadium Blvd. adjacent to Best Buy is still open. But then again, I was surprised to see two new stoplights on the east side of town last night, along with new multi-unit residential buildings downtown near campus, so I apparently don't get out as much as I should. I stand corrected. I found out, after Paul's comment, that there are five stores in the Tulsa area. Called each store and none stock nibblers. A local hobby store owner told me incorrectly that Radio Shack was closed. Looks like Micro Mark will be getting my business soon. Joe
