My name is Rick Wagner and I live in Humboldt, IA. I grew up in Springfield, MO and my grandpa, George I. Wagner worked as a brakeman/conductor for the Frisco for appx. 25+ years. He retired sometime in the 70's and passed away in 1978. I have vauge memories of visiting him at the yard as a child as well as visiting the depot in Springfield back in the day. I am trying to find out more about his life on the railroad; what trains/engines he rode with, his routes, anything. I am just now starting my track plan as I am new to model railroading and would like to honor a part of him in my layout. Any information would be helpful.
