Greetings, just got on board. I grew up about 30 feet from the Frisco lines in Moselle, Missouri. Have many great memories of these trains from the 1960s. Can even remember the engineer letting me and my brother in the cab and giving us water and candy. Spent many a day walking the rails and even mastered jumping from one to the other without falling off. The tracks split this little village in half. We had a pony and a cow killed by the train, can't remember all the dogs that suffered the same fate (one survived the encounter and we always told people he was "trained.") One of my first sales as a professional photographer was photos I took of a car that was cut in half at the crossing. The trains I remember are the orange and white ones. I graduated from high school the year the Frisco merged with the B-N. Some day want to model Moselle in O scale. I've got some historic photos of Moselle if anyone is interested. Ship it on the Frisco!
