  1. Hello, I am Logan Schupp a 15 year old railfan from Michigan. I live on Canadian Nationals Escanaba to Sault Ste. Marie mainline and I know the whole crew! I am a volunteer at the Steam Railroading Insitiute in Owosso, Michigan and their pride and joy Pere Marquette Berkshire 1225 is my favorite locomotive. I recently have also favored Frisco 4501 so now she is in my list of top 5 locomotives. I have liked the Frisco since I saw a video of 1522 in 2007. Its nice to have found this forum!
Ohh I forgot to mention I have also hostled Nickel Plate 765 (under FWRHS's supervision of course)!

  2. Nice to meet you Logan, I've been hooked on the Frisco for about 95% of my Life(I'm only 18 so that isn't too much). You will find alot of info about the Frisco operations on here. I have a buddy named Troy Kleman who works on NKP 765 at the FWRHS. As you most likely know 1522 hasn't run since 2002, but 1630 is going and in the next couple of years the Frisco 1352 will be running up in ohio if everything works out. Hope you find all that your looking for on here, and welcome aboard!!!

Welcome Logan. This is a great forum, full of information. If you have a question, there's more than likely someone with an answer. I got into the model railroading scene when I was 11, and got into the Frisco when I was 14, and I'm 16 now. Other than me Murphy, a guy buy the name of Dominic Hogue (who isn't on here much) and now you we're the only young Frisco fans that I know of.

Very proud to have you here, Logan.

"Berks" are awesome. (Don't tell anyone here I said so.) My steam appreciation re-awakened while examining a close cousin, the C&O 2760 Kanawha displayed in Lynchburg, VA. It was behind a chain-link fence, but things were close enough to show how things worked. Cab experience will be a great memory.
