I was looking for old pictures or letters at Frisco Station in Fort Smith. My Dad worked for them back in the Fourties. I'm glad to get to know some of you'll.

Click on the "All Aboard" masthead above. Then click on "Depots and Stations" Then click on "Depots A-F" You'll find several photos and maps of the Fort Smith depot.

Welcome to the group. I don't know much about the depot's, but there are plenty of people on here that know about them.

  5. Welcome aboard. Glad to see some other fans in the area. I'm right across the river in Van Buren.:) I know alot about the Ft. Smith Frisco depot and often do some railroad photography from the brick platform out front. There is some old Frisco paper work from the area in the Van Buren depot muesum and I'm sure some people on here have some stuff. Have fun and enjoy the group there plenty of stuff to find here contributed by some of the nicest people on any railroad chat board.
    Ship it on the Frisco!!!

In addition to the Fort Smith materials on this site (see the search function) you might consult Mike Condren's web page on Fort Smith and Van Buren railroads. Between the two sites you should be able to find a lot of information and welcome to Frisco.org.

    Welcome "thmartin8".

I am Andre Ming. I live in Poteau, OK. I see you live in Hackett. Quite a bit of railroad history in that town.

Anyway, looks like several have pointed you in good directions to find the info you seek.

Welcome to the forum and jump right in... the water's great!
