Hi I'm a new member from the UK. I've been interested in US railroads for over 50 years, especially passenger trains of the 50/60s. My favourite railroads are those in the southwest and I have a collection of n scale models of MKT, Rock Island, Frisco (only Lifelike E8s!), Burlington and Mopac.
Welcome Overland, My name is George. I live in the town of Newburg, Missouri and am only 300 feet from the old Frisco mainline. If you type in the word "Newburg" in the search menu you will see several photos of this area. I hope you enjoy this site and many cheers old boy! FriscoGeorge
Cheery Oh! Welcome to one of the friendliest and most accomodating model railroad forums in cyberspace. We are all passionate about our beloved railroad and are all too tickled for another person to express an interest in what we offer here.
Aye Mate ... I will add my welcome as well. I kept scratching my head thinking .. FAVERSHAM .. I know that name. A quick search on Google Earth gave me the answer. I was there while touring in Eastern England - Canterbury - Dover - etc. AND, I must say all your Pubs' are great -- train stations and trains too! Been on every route of the "Tube". Glad to have you here.
A warm welcome to you Overland: This is a great web-site and group of people to share "Frisco-passion" with. Modeling, prototype, history, etc. - it's all here. Glad you are amongst us!
Welcome overland! You will find info on here for about any question you have about the Frisco, MKT, MoPac and modeling in general. Forgive me if I'm wrong and there is already someone on here from over seas, but Frisco.org is now officially international.
