Team, I am glad to be part of the group. I have been a railfan for years and have several interests in the SLSF. In high school, with help from my father attorney, I wrote a letter to the Frisco and had the opportunity to ride in an E 8 from Memphis to Chaffee on Train 808 in April, 1963. It was an exciting trip and I have 35 MM slides of the train. Today, my in laws moved from Georgia to Mount Vernon, MO. I am fascinated by new territory and want more historical information on the Mount Vernon and Aurora areas. Career wise, I spent 5 years in management of the Milwaukee Road before going into shipper transportation management.
