These Silver Streak Boxcars were about as close as I ever came to craftsman Model Railroading. I built about a half dozen way back in the Jurassic, but all were lost over time to one mishap or another. The Frisco fast freight car appeared today and was probably my favorite of the whole bunch. Silver streak kits and already assembled cars are on eBay all the time. If you want an already built one like I do, Finding one in good condition with a good paint match on the metal parts and with metal parts not all scratched up is a challenge. Choice examples rarely appear, but two both did this morning, and been quickly routed to my layout to haul golden memories.
