Some of our members may recall that a few years ago I wrote a book called "Frisco in Color, Vol. 2" that was published by Morning Sun Books. If you have a copy, I hope you like it. In any event, I have recently been asked to undertake a similar project, but this time revolving around MoPac passenger trains. If anyone has color slides of MP passenger trains and would like to see them find their way into print, please contact me via PM and let me know what you have. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot use anything from sets you might have purchased from Al Chione, Trackside Slides, etc., as these are copyrighted and not available for subsequent use. However, Evda slides are okay, for reasons known only to the publisher.

    Greg,

I have a few slides that I took at St. Louis in 1968. The particular interest is the MP passenger car shop area, which they purchased from the TRRA about 1962 for maintaining and repairing their refurbished fleet. I also have a few color prints of MP passenger trains arriving and leaving St. Louis in 1964.

Okay, thanks. I would have preferred to respond with a PM but I do not see a link to do that. Yes, I would be interested in seeing (and hopefully using) what you have if you are willing to turn loose of it for a while. Question is, how can we get that done?

Where ever PM's are located, they're still more trouble than they're worth. Mostly just clutter up your incoming email inbox!
