I'm looking for a pre-1910 map or track chart featuring the Monte Ne RR's connection with the Frisco at Lowell, Arkansas. I understand the 2 railroads shared the station at Lowell at least through 1908. I also know that an underpass was built in 1910 to connect the AO&W to the Monte Ne, but I'm interested in how the interchange trackage was laid out before that happened, when just the Monte Ne connected with the Frisco there. Anyone seen a map like that, or have an idea where to look?
I've looked at the Library of Congress's Sanborn collection that's available online, but no luck for Lowell. I know LOC doesn't have every map in their collection available online. Perhaps some university or other has a map for Lowell but I'm not sure where to look. I have recently learned Lowell does have a historical museum, open 2 days a month. They have no email address , so I was planning to give them a call when they are open next Saturday, and see if they can give me any leads. Perhaps they have something in their collection, or maybe they can put me in contact with some local historians who might know.
