I've been having a problem on different computers where I try to log on to frisco.org and no matter how many times I enter my user name and password (CAREFULLY), the site keeps asking me to log in. The only remedy I've found is to close my browser and open it again. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?
Howdy, Try clearing your browser cache. The problem is that cookies aren't working the way the forum expects it. I have that problem on my iPad, too. Best, mike
Your computer is likely discarding the cookie from this site and when that happens, you will be asked to log in again. In order for the vBulletin software (which drives this site) to function properly and recognize you, your browser needs to retain the cookie. Anti-virus, any-spyware, firewall, etc., software can block or kill the cookie. When that happens, you are logged out. Are you checking the "Remember Me" box when you log in? If not, that would be step one in solving the problem. Charlie
