I live in Sapulpa OK just outside Tulsa and Frisco's Cherokee Hump. Sapulpa, named after Chief Sapulpa of the Creek Indian tribe, was transformed from a sleeply little indian trading post by the the Glen Pool oil discovery and the building of the Frisco railroad into Sapulpa. I joined this site to learn more about modeling the Frisco diesel locomotives. I model in S scale. S scale or 3/16 is about half way between O scale and HO. S-Helper Service and American Models are the 2 mainstream manufactures of S scale locomotives and rolling stock.
