Interesting but scary railfanning site.

A few years ago I was touring the southern states and while in Memphis, TN, I did some railfanning.

There is a place that Memphians call the spaghetti bowl, which is on the west end of Memphis, just as you cross the Mississippi River. At the east end of the bridge the railroad seems to go in all directions. One place in particular, there is a bridge that has a radius so tight that, in the words of a local conductor, if the train gets over 10 miles an hour the railcars lift to one side far enough that some of the wheels actually leave the track.

The same conductor I spoke to said that it is a popular spot for some doozy derailments. Which explained why they had a work or wreck train sitting close by. This was a really neat, but scary place to watch trains.

If anyone knows of this place and if it was old Frisco mainline, I would like to know. :)
