The Southeast Missourian July 24, 1950 digitized paper has a front-page article along with a couple of grainy photos on both page 1, and then again further into the newspaper. http://www.semissourian.com/ Use the "Archive Since 1918" feature; I tried searching by keywords but couldn't find it, so I just clicked on a random newspaper. I then selected the "Browse This Newspaper" option, which then allows you to search by date. Best Regards,
