Hello everyone. My name is Jason and I've been an Ho modeler for the last 15 years. Being active duty Navy, I don't have much room for an ho layout so I've been busy buying and building kits that I will use on my future dream layout when I retire. I'm still going to work on that goal mind you, but I've decided to come over to N scale and model the Frisco in Ft. Worth in the 1970's.

My layout is going to be a 2x8 foot shelf style switching layout with a 2x6 foot peninsula, and based on the Pike City Beltline railroad feature in MR about 10 or 11 years ago.

Does anyone have any advice on where I can find any info (books, websites, etc) on the Frisco's operations, industries served, and Sanburn Insuracne maps, in Ft. Worth from about 1975-79?

Welcome to the forums. As far as operations in that area I'm clueless. Though for a late 70's Shelf operation, I would say a Switcher type loco would be good. EX MP15Dc, SW1500, SW9, SW7, NW2, etc. Good luck.
