My name is Ronnie, My Grandfather retired as an locomotive engineer from the Frisco railroad in York Alabama, The last engine number i remember him on was 411. Before that he worked for the AT&N railroad, he worked his way up from a car repair helper, fireman,brakeman until he became an engineer. I stumbled upon this site and it looked like a good place to start looking for information, I will try to contribute any info I may have as little as that may be.
