Thank you to the webmaster for this group.
After living 50 years on the Santa Monica Bay beach, eight years ago we moved to Indiana west of Indianapolis.
A new home with a 1200 square foot basement (due to a tornado warning) has finally given me the chance to have a layout. After collecting since 1968 and slowly replacing Rivarossi with Walthers' and BLI, I'm at the stage to finish the 160 foot mainline loop. I like architecture and we go for rides to the small town around here to photograph likely buildings to be modeled.

    Howdy Jim,

Hope you find lots of inspiration for your layout and models. Frisco country is rich with mountains, hills, prairie dog towns, and flat lands, and extends from back east (St Louis - don't' think I'd call Birmingham back east) as far south as Pensacola and west to Floydada (Texas).

    Have fun and welcome,
    mike
