    Hello all:

My name is Gary Gross, I have been an NMRA member for about 40 years and was a FMIG member in the 1980's when Charlie Dischenger was the editor.

I currently model the Frisco and MP in the 1950's along with my fictional Franklin and Pacific Railroad. We have been having operating sessions on the railroad for about six years. Still have lots of scenary and buildings to finish, but then most of us are never finished working on our railroads.

I look forward to being a returning member.

    Gary

Gary, Welcome Aboard! This past Friday, 8/5/2011, a few of the modelers form here in KC were over in your neck of the woods at Patrick Pope's layout operating. We went on to Collinsville to the Railroad Prototype Modelers meet. We also met some members of the St Charles Model Railroaders club and toured their display layout in O'Fallon.
    1) Do you know Pat?
    2) How many people do you know in the St Louis area that operate. The reason I ask is that a number of us over here are trying to possibly put together an operating weekend for folks from St Louis including some that have never operated before.

    Hi Gary and welcome!

There's going to be a gathering of us Friscophiles Sept. 17th at Springfield, MO. Lots of activities planned. Hopefully you'll consider coming on down and joining us and get better acquainted!
