Hello one and all from NW Arkansas and Rogers in particular where we have a bike loop encompassing our town named the Frisco Railyard loop. I was curious if there is a good place to research historic train crashes. There is one that happened one mile south of town that I'd love to get more insight about. Also how much does this forum discuss local spurs of Frisco line? NW Arkansas has a few. James 'JP' Taggart
Welcome to Frisco.org! There are a few here who enjoy train-watching from a bicycle (when fortune favors it!). There are also many who are from NW Arkansas who share knowledge about Frisco operations there. Search the forums to find your topics. Look through "stations," "operations" and "divisions."
Welcome James. Andre Ming here. I have a penchant for the Frisco's St. Paul Branch, as well as the Black Mountain & Eastern/Combs Cass & Eastern that connected at Combs, AR. I also find some of the other short lines that operated in NW AR very interesting.
Welcome James, Just 20 miles from you. There was also a derailment north of Rogers, near Brightwater I do think. BR
