The engines are about to cross South Main Street. Train is westbound. View looking east northeast. At the time of the photograph the depot is no longer an active agency. It was sold to the local grain elevator, Fleming Feed and Grain Company. They are located at 309 South Main Street, Leon, KS 67074. The former depot ended its life as a storage warehouse by the elevator company. They ultimately tore off the former agent / operator bay window and were storing bailed hay inside in the late 1990s. Unfortunately, they tore down the building due to its age, lack of maintenance and deteriorated condition. MKD
