Sorry about the late notice, but I kept forgetting to post this earlier. Tomorrow, Saturday June 5 is Good ol'e days in Ft. Scott from 10am to 6 pm It is located at 110 S main I will be there early not, but not the whole time. The Pittsburg MRR club will have there layout up and going there.
The Railroad Historical Museum, Inc. in Springfield, MO www.rrhistoricalmuseum.zoomshare.com has received a nice model of the Frisco Ft. Scott, KS Depot Office Building. It is on display in the former Chicago and Northwestern Chicago Commuter Car. A retired Frisco conductor's daughter was kind enough to bring it from Denver, CO to Springfield. Her father built the model. Note on our web page, we will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2010 for Visitor Appreciation Day - Open House. Lot's of additional items are on display, many recently donated and/or loaned to the museum. Come and see us!
