Paul, I think the information you provided here would allow any novice modeler to start with a scene like Girard as an introduction to prototype modeling. It has a very simple track arrangement. One could just about model on a 4' x 8' loop or a 2' x 8' linear arrangement with two 1' x 8' staging arms at each end. A grain elevator for some minimal switching, and what was probably a very photogenic filling station in its day across East Saint John Street from the elevator.
